YouTube brings interactive quizzes to videos with Questions Editor beta
Feel like something’s missing from your YouTube watching experience– like some good ‘ol multiple-choice questions? The chronic students amongst us will be pleased to hear that the website is testing an interactive– and potentially educational– feature that lets users add quizzes to their clips. A new web page on the YouTube website describes a “Video Questions Editor Beta,” which lets channel owners display multiple-choice questions on top of their videos as they play. The web page is pretty blank at the second, but the beta is up and running for those who choose in. Don’t get too energized, though: YouTube’s disclaimer states the function “represents work in progression,” and “there is no plan for lasting support of the attribute. “
