I do not know if it is a good investment; but it does do industrial robotics. ABB. They are a Swiss company. The ticker is ABB. $15.93 a share at the moment. They are a very large company with operations world wide. I do believe that the fact that they are a non-US company is a plus in their favor, but their earnings are in Swiss Francs which might be a minus for them since they will sell in local currencies and the Franc has always been a strong currency in the past unlike some. Also you might consider the implication that consumers might not return to their prodigals ways of the past. Let us hope so anyway as they will be hard pressed to repay the prodigal ways of the U S government.
AIG was be a best stock to invest if you plan to invest for a long term, because AIG is too big to fail and beside AIG no longer need government bailout money. if you invest in AIG are now you returning profit is 10-30 times in 3-5 years.
