Question by : what motor and materials do i need to turn a plastic gun for robotics?
So i am making a sentry gun and its my first time using arduino and making a robot and im kinda new, first year computer engineering student and i was wondering what kind of motor torque or what kind of motor ill need with how much power to quickly turn a gun at a pivot point? any help would be appreciated on how to auto press the trigger on the gun to shoot

Use hobby servos like those found in model RC airplanes.
High speed for aiming and High torque for pulling the trigger.
Hobby servos are very reliable and easy to control with any micro controller.
