A ton of work. Engineers are desperately needed by the Air Force. Robotics plays into a lot of the avionics, sensors and other high tech electronics.
Of course there are UAV’s that require both mechanical and robotic prowess.
You could also talk to a recruiter to find out more.

I disagree with the first answer – but you should still check with a recruiter – and take what is said with a grain of salt. The skills mentioned are all outside the Air Force – in industry making stuff for the Air Force. And I’ll bet the officers at research facilities went through the Air Force Academy to get their degrees.
