Turn your Windows 7 Laptop into a Wi-Fi Hotspot with Connectify!

www.connectify.me Connectify is a free Windows 7 application that turns your laptop into a real Wi-Fi hotspot to share the Internet with friends, co-workers, and mobile devices. Connectify allows you to take any Internet connection and share it wirelessly with no additional hardware, wires, plugs, or chargers. You can then easily connect any number of WiFi enabled devices to your personal network including laptops, phones, gaming systems, and more. WiFi enabled devices can see and join your Connectify hotspot just like any other WiFi access point and are kept safe and secure by rock solid WPA2 Encryption. This is not a simple Ad-hoc connection, its a full blown Access Point allowing you to host or repeat a network and receive an Internet connection at the same time, using one Wi-Fi card.

Try Virtual Router! I was just looking for ways to share my wireless connection for my device (my school’s security is too troublesome), and it works at first try. Way better than connectify in my opinion.

  • BelviGER:

Would have really liked to use that programm but it caused a bsod for me.

  • 16renick:

    yow! this works prefectly!

  • Lewzinit:

I was able to complete successful uninstall after booting into safe mode w no networking.

  • Lewzinit:

This software also gave me the BSOD after each attempt at uninstalling it on Windows 7. Do not download…I did not listen since I wanted the shared capabilities sooo bad. It was not worth the risk.

  • ArilSanz:
