I’m not much of a reviewer, but this gun is so different than most guns on Battlefield 3 I just wanted to talk about it a little bit, especially regarding the hip fire. You almost have to use it like a PDW more than a Carbine. Let me know what you think of this kind of video (hate it or like it) as I read every comment. I have this gun LOCKED anybody knows why?
I’m not so sure what is all that great about this gun. The muzzle velocity is second highest, so it might work well with a suppressor, but that doesn’t really matter because there really is no place where stealth is remotely applicable. The higher rof makes it technically better than the m4 at close range, but the reload speed is a good second longer. This gun reminds me of the pre patch famas: people will probably complain that it’s overpowered, but it’s really useless except for its rof.

i know what you’re talking about with the reload. I’m OCD when it comes to reloading between kills
Or better still arm an M-COM with an EOD bot then go and hide, and when the enemy comes to defuse….. LOL!!!
Imo the m4a1 is overall the best carbine, it’s as fast as the a-91 and way more accurate.
Awesome gun, nice review, beast gameplay! And if someone is still struggling with the Eod-bot kill, just go on a 64 man conquest firestorm server, drive to the mountains and kill a sniper

I agree, it’s awesome up close but not great at range. And remember this isn’t the TAR-21, it’s the ultra-compact (micro) version of the standard AR, so it’s more of a PDW than a carbine. Doubt it’ll be nerfed as it does it’s job (being devastating up close but not very good at range) perfectly IMO.

Have you tried Tribes Ascend yet? It’s a free online pc-only skill-based shooter, and I’m pretty sure you’ll love it (judging on your play style)
