The Pro-Grow 400 LED Grow – The Bloom pt. 3
Notes – I’ve pivoted the lamp 90 degrees so the long side of the lamp is perpendicular to the tent’s long side. I have found this to provide better front to back lighting coverage, and the side to side coverage is compensated by the light mover. Grow Stats: We’re running a Pro-Grow 400 LED grow light from Hydroponics Hut in a 5 x 3 grow space. All six plants were vegged under a Pro-Grow 260 (full spectrum) at 18/6 then moved into the Bloom-Room at 12/12. 3 – 5 gallon smart-pots (fabric) with Fox Farms soil, Earth Juice organic dry mix nutrients added. 2 Aurora Indica (Week 3 bloom) 2 Blue Mystic (BM-G week 3, BM-D week 2) 1 White Widow (Week 2 bloom) 1 Mystery Sativa (week 7 bloom) Follow along @ www.growmedical420.com

Thank you!
When possible, I prefer multiple lamps to single large points of light (not only with LEDs but HID as well). I think you get more light manageability, more sweet spots and better coverage with 2 light sources.
In all honesty, I believe one 260 may suffice for a tent of your specifications. Currently I have a Pro-Grow 180 in a similar tent, doing well (check out the blog) I would still recommend the 260 over the 180 as it allows you the possibility of expanding.
Nice grow. Would you reccomend a Pro Grow 400 or 2x Progrow 260s for a 36 x 20 x 60 tent? Thanks.
