Watch the explosive first trailer for ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’

One of the biggest movies of next year will without a doubt be the return of Mad Max in the sequel Fury Road, and the film already started to wow audiences yesterday at Warner Bros.’ big Comic-Con presentation. A first look at the film was show on stage, and now that trailer has been released online for the rest of the world to watch. It’s an explosive look at the film in all the right ways, and it shows that series director George Miller, who’s back on board for Fury Road, still knows exactly what fans want to see out of its apocalyptic world.

The Penguin appears in latest ‘Gotham’ trailer

Marvel is the biggest name in superheroes when it comes to the movies, so DC is now making a big effort to take over a screen of its own: the TV. Gothamwhich premieres on September 22nd, will be one of DC’s highest-profile attempts to bring its comic-book worlds to television. The show is a crime drama that tells the origins of Batman, though Batman himself won’t actually turn up in the series. Instead, it’ll follow a young Commissioner Gordon — then just a detective — and it’ll have him occasionally crossing paths with an even younger Bruce Wayne, who’s dealing with the murder of his parents.

new trailer released today gives the best look yet at what that struggle will be like for young Bruce, and also gives a good look at the…

Watch Christian Bale as Moses in Ridley Scott’s ‘Exodus’ trailer

The biblical epic of Moses has inspired generations of creatives, but Egypt has never looked as dour as in the first trailer for Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods and Kings. The movie will star Christian Bale as a mean and muscular Moses, and looks set to follow the events laid out in the book of the same name. Exodus tells the story of Moses attempting to free his people from enslavement in Egypt. Expect to see plagues, burning bushes, Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul as Moses’ sidekick Joshua, and of course the titular exodus, when Gods and Kings hits theaters this December.

Impressive Fan-Made Warhammer 40,000 Movie Trailer

warhammer-animation.jpg This is ‘Grey Knights’, a trailer for ‘The Lord Inquisitor‘, an unofficial Warhammer 40,000 movie that animator Erasmus Brosda has spent the last four years creating. I will watch it. I will watch it, and I will make popcorn. I’m kidding, I don’t like popcorn. “Who doesn’t like popcorn?!” Somebody who’s fallen for the ol’ penis in the popcorn bucket trick one too many times. Keep going for the trailer, as well as Erasmus’ previous trailer for the film from 2011.

New ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Trailer Unveils Shredder and His Unwieldy Cutlery Collection

turtles-trailer-2.jpg As was noted with the first trailer, Michael Bay may only be proudly celebrated as a producer on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but he’s still somehow managed to yet again get his grimy fingerprints all over our action figures–and that goes doubly so in this second trailer. While the first included such telltale Bay-isms as large-scale skyscraper destruction, inscrutable action, and a prominent role for Megan Fox, this one adds in Bay’s loves for interlocking sharp metal crap (see our complicated new Shredder above), context-free explosions, and lines clearly left over from a draft of Bad Boys 3. Watch below to say farewell to “cowabunga”; hello to “that’s what I’m talkin’ about!” and “let’s rock ‘n’ roll!” (fist-bump).
