Digital Storm goes after DIY gaming PCs with its $699 Vanquish (video)

Digital Storm declares DIY gaming PCs dead with its new Vanquish line

Fast payday loans For Every One

Dear rig builder, before you go shopping for your next PSU, Digital Storm would like a word. The company’s new line of Vanquish PCs is aimed at gamers who want the price of a self-build, but without the worry that they’ve mistakenly jammed a 12V ATX cable into a Blu-Ray drive. The base unit offers up an AMD FX-4300 with 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, a Radeon HD 7750 and Windows 7 for $ 699 — just $ 38 more than the company claims you could snag those unassembled parts on NewEgg. Alongside the professional build, Digital Storm will provide lifetime in-house tech support and a three-year warranty, so if you’d like to learn more, there’s PR and video after the break.

Alien Storm – Sega Genesis – MegaDrive – TV Game Commercial – Retro Gaming – 1991

Alien Storm is a 1990 beat ‘em up arcade game by Sega, later ported to the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and Sega Master System. The Sega Mega Drive version was also released on Wii’s Virtual Console in 2007. The game appeared in Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Plot A homicidal alien race is invading Earth, and the only thing that stands between them and world domination are a special forces team known as the “Alien Busters,” composed of Karen (absent in the Master System version, named “Karla” in some versions), Garth (named “Gordon” in some versions) and Scooter (the robot, named “Slammer” in Master System and PAL versions). Gameplay Alien Storm is a side-scrolling beat ‘em up. The game resembles Golden Axe, with a similar artistic style, three playable characters (a man, a woman, and a novelty character) and pick-up or power-up special attacks. The player (one player only on the Master System version, up to two players on the Mega Drive version, three on the arcade version) selects from the three different characters to embark upon a quest to save the Earth from an alien invasion. All of the Busters are playable from the beginning of the game. There are 6 missions to complete (8 in the Mega Drive version) with several stages, and each mission has the player blasting aliens, from the streets to the mother ship, where the mother of all aliens can be found. This task becomes increasingly difficult with each new mission, and the aliens are

Bowers & Wilkins AM-1 speaker can weather the rain, weather the snow, weather the storm

Bowers & Wilkin

We appreciate any product that lets us not just freely reference Lamb, however likewise blast that band’s tracks in our yard. Which is what Bowers & Wilkins weatherproof AM-1 (Architectural Display) was constructed to do: blare out the tunes no matter the weather condition while preserving a subdued, stylish look. The rustproof speaker, which comes in black or white, is made for simple mounting, could spin 110-degrees from either landscape or portrait positioning and, according to the company’s cases, must provide better noise when placed high up (thanks to an inverted drive unit). Naturally, you don’t have to attach this fella to your outside veranda– it’ll also be right in your home from inside your … house, bar or even that diligently preserved secret storage. Seek the AM-1 to hit retail for $ 300 at some point next month, but buyer beware, you’ll have to provide the trip hop tuneage yourself.
