The alliance just put in the first Sanya Skypump merely outside of Barcelona to serve corporate and government drivers with genuinely clean energy at levels that meet their typically heftier needs. It’s billed as one of the very first properly integrated wind-powered EV chargers, and it’s certainly one of the more elegant: one of UGE’s 4K wind turbine towers catches energy from the breeze above, while a GE Durastation tucked nicely at the bottom supplies high-voltage charging for EV drivers unquestionably anxious to obtain moving once again. Don’t fret if you do not speak enough Catalan to charge up at the initial place, either, as plans are in progress to deliver Skypumps to malls and universities across Australia and the US prior to 2012 is over. The only catch is the frown you’ll likely get if you try to plug in an individual car or truck for a top-up– let’s wish the attention swings towards completely green power sources for commuters in the near future.

Eye Candy: The Definitive Time-Lapse Of Earth From The International Space Station (Until There’s A Better One)

space-station-timelapse.jpg

The folks over at Gizmodo are hailing this video from the International Area Station as, “the most impressive evening view of planet ever before caught by NASA”, and obviously they get off on these things the way usual people like you and I would a “chicks in latex” fetish film. So they must know. But enough chatting intimate enjoyments throughout business hours, this is an evening view of planet shot from the ISS. It actually is some serious eye candy. Like, more so than the buddy of mine who can stick a candy corn up his nose and squeeze it out his tear duct. He’s so gross. It’s an excellent video to view if you’ve been going with a rough spell and require something to put it all in perspective. In this case that perspective being, “Man, we’re all so irrelevant– none of the things I’ve been stressing about even f \*\*\* ing matter. GET DRUNK, PARTY HARD!”

Hit the jump for the beneficial video (plus perk decent soundtrack!).

Is This A Thing? A Business Man Carries iPad In His Pants Through Grand Central Station

padbutt

Every morning, my beautiful partner walks with Grand Central Station in New York Town on her way to work, and every morning, she sees something odd. Such is the nature of staying in the Big Apple.

This occurred: she saw a man– a regular dude in slacks and a button-down– holding his iPad in his butt.

Experience the horror.

Undoubtedly, there ’ s very little news value to this tale, but I need to question, is this a “ thing ”? An iPad conveniently fits in a bag, and there are plenty of covers that feature manages, allowing you to hold the tablet like a briefcase. However to a New York straphanger, probably this isn ’ t accessible enough. Probably the tablet requires to be as offered as the phone in your pocket, and thus the butt tuck.

My primary question, if we just presume that this is appropriate conduct, is whether the iPad is safe. Just how tight are this man ’ s slacks to enable a securely packed iPad? And moreover, is it not entirely sweaty and disgusting when he whips it out?
