It’s not entirely surprising that Kanye West bought Jay-Z and Beyonce Porsche Design P’9981 BlackBerry handsets as a gift — after all, we concluded in our review that the $ 2,000 or thereabouts phone was little more than a great way to demonstrate that you’re wealthy. What is surprising is that Beyonce actually appears to be still using the device three weeks on from when the gift was first reported by The Sun — Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings has come across a picture of her brandishing the steel BlackBerry along with her newborn baby, and we also saw it in Us magazine. Perhaps Beyonce came for the hardware design and stayed for the Super Apps? We’re glad it’s working out for her, and we’re only a little jealous.

It’s hard to argue with Google’s track record. The company has scored a hit in nearly every space in which it’s dabbled: search, email, ads, office software, etc. There’s always been one glaring exception to this rule, however: social networking. The company hasn’t made much of a dent in a world dominated by Facebook (and, once upon a time, MySpace and Friendster). For Google+, however, the company dove in with both feet, launching a multi-faceted service that brings a lot to the table with features like Circles, Hang Out, and Huddle. Is it enough to end the Google’s streak? We take a deeper dive to find out.

I am selling an item on Craigslist and recently received a great offer, but is this a fraud attempt?
Question by JT: I am selling an item on Craigslist and recently received a great offer, but is this a fraud attempt?
Buyer named Mr. Bob Edwards send me a question asking if the item was still for sale to which I replied yes. He then sent the following email:
Thanks for your reply toward my request for your item, I am very happy to hear that the item is still available, the price you want to get the item sold is acceptable by me and I hope it is in good condition. I run a TV SHOW residing in 822 Roosevelt St. Wichita Falls
Actually, I am buying this item as a gift for my Boy; He was currently transferred to West Africa, he is a staff of world health organization and he was transferred to West Africa for awareness to stop HIV/AIDS and Malaria. I will pay through pay pal and you will help me mail the item to Him through US postal service (USPS).
Kindly provide me with your pay pal email and if you don’t you can simply log on to http://anonym.to/?http://www.paypal.com/ and register for one so you can get back to me with it if it’s accepted. I will be adding a shipping fee of $ 150. I think ($ 400) will cover the shipping and your money.
I need this item as soon as possible so that it can be able to get to Him. Please I would love to see it locally and pay for it but I have a tight job schedule as I run a TV SHOW, http://www.bobedwardsradio.com/ my days are always busy. that is why I can’t do this locally /pick it up hope you will understand. Kindly get back to me ASAP so that I will make the payment, I assure you that once I receive your information for the payment, I will send out the payment to you quickly.
I wait to hear from you as soon as possible so that I can make the payment as fast as I can.

Is this a fraud attempt?

A genuine buyer never refers to what you are selling as “your item” but calls it whatever it is.
Any time a “buyer” mentions any foreign country as the destination of whatever you are selling, it’s a SCAM.
Any time someone offers to pay too much, it’s a SCAM. (They usually expect you to be stupid enough to send their “change” via Western Union or some other untraceable means.)
Any time a “buyer” includes a hypertext link, especially one that is redirecting off of an unrelated site, it’s a SCAM.
And a “TV SHOW” on “BobEdwardsRadio?” Those scammers are not all that bright and are depending upon you being even dumber. Don’t fall for it.

Quick impressions of the Logitech Revue:
We just received a unit here at the gdgt offices and have been playing with it for the last 30 minutes or so. So far, it's left a lot to be desired.
The setup process itself is pretty horrid — despite being plugged in with an HDMI cable, you still need to manually calibrate the screen size of the device using arrow keys and a box on the screen. Once this is done, it asks for the make of your television and then requires you to type in your model…
