How to make your itunes match work on your apple tv?
Question by Rachel: How to make your itunes match work on your apple tv?
I got the apple tv right when it came out. Last Christmas I got itunes match. I have not tried to use it until now, and I can’t figure out how to get it on the apple tv. Please help me. PS. my mother though that you can also download all of your CDs on it. Is that right?

Answer by Andrew
Firstly to answer your second question, the purpose of iTunes Match is to upload music from CD’s and match them to Apples version on the iTunes store and in a sense puts a purchased sign next to it on the store. Then using an iPhone or iPad or other iTunes library you can log on to your account and download the song. So yes your mother is right but instead of downloading them it matches them and then to access them on your Apple TV it will stream.
To get iTunes Match on your TV go to SETTINGS > GENERAL > iTUNES STORE > iTUNES MATCH > SWITCH ON then go to MUSIC > iCLOUD LIBARY
Hope this helps. If not trying updating you Apple TV and try again

For the most part, customers are privy to the final yummy-looking plan, give or take the periodic wandering bug that chooses to crash their gaming spread. Underneath all that luxurious, juicy meat, nevertheless, is a healthy helping of puzzle meat. This consists of the amalgamation of hours upon many hours of the proverbial blood, sweat and tears piled up by the modern-day craftsmans who ply in the game trade. At the top of their list of issues? Making sure a game works across the plethora of computers that grow rapidly out in the wild.
With the sector essentially settling on NVIDIA and ATI/AMD nowadays, the narrowing of card selections to two brands has actually made working on compatibility “a bit much easier” than it utilized to be, stated Travis Baldree, president and lead engineer for Runic Games. Note he said “a little much easier” not “a cakewalk.”
“Compatibility is always the most significant difficulty– it isn’t a new problem at all,” Baldree said. “The sheer number of permutations of cards, drivers, gadgets and third-party software– and their unanticipated interactions with one an additional– can be a trial to handle. “

Apple applies for patent that scales content to match face distance, save us from squinting
Most software has to be created around a presumed watching distance, whether it’s up close for a smartphone or the 10-foot interface of a house movie theater hub. Apple has actually been picturing a day when the specific distance can be unimportant: it’s getting a patent that would instantly resize any sort of content based upon viewing distance. By making use of a camera, infrared or other sensors to detect face distance with facial recognition or pure array, the strategy could dynamically resize a map or site to keep it legible at differing arrays. Although the trick might work with the majority of any sort of device, the business sees that flexibility as the majority of relevant for a tablet, and it’s easy to understand why– iPad owners might keep reading the couch without should manually zoom in as they settle into a much more relaxed position. There’s no understanding the likelihood that Apple will carry out an automatic scaling function in iOS or OS X, let alone make it the default setting. If the Cupertino team previously goes that far, however, we’ll just have our very own eyesight to blame if we can not read just what’s on display.
