While the humble touchscreen has become the standard interface for the majority of mobile phones, and capacitive shows make it a pain-free experience, the people at start-up Qeexo think things could still be improved. It’s developed a technology called FingerSense that could possibly add much more capability. Basically, by using a small acoustic sensor, it measures the vibrations as objects tap the display, and can easily inform the distinction between them. So, for example, a knuckle tap might be utilized for “right-click.” The tech has the ability to find the distinction between materials, too, so even when no finger is involved, it can register input, a terrific help to those with longer fingernails. The enjoyable does not stop there, though, with the demo video after the break revealing a Galaxy SIII with a customized show, able to sign up stylus input, also without formal support for it.
