Lil Plastic Pews: Holographic LEGO Star Wars Toy Display

This is a LEGO Star Wars toy display with some holographic video effects. Do they have them at Toys R Us? No clue, I got banned from the nearest one for bicycle jousting in the store. Dammit, I was gonna buy something! No I wasn’t. I was gonna peg my friend with a dodgeball then run and hide in a big pile of stuffed animals. I love how at the end of the holographic battle it includes the warning, “THE ANIMATION IN THIS VIDEO IS FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY. THE MODELS DO NOT ACTUALLY POSSESS ANY OF THE ANIMATED FUNCTIONALITIES.” Because it would suck finishing your new LEGO Star Wars set if you hadn’t read that. *smashes AT-AT* WHY WEREN’T YOU SHOOTING LASERS?
Hit the jump for the video.

Microsoft working on Vermeer, a ‘touchable’ 360-degree holographic display (video)
Touchable is a stretch when talking about Vermeer, but we’d definitely call it interactive. Instead of hiding the 360-degree display under an acrylic or glass dome it uses a parobolic reflector to float a 3D “object” in space and tracks hand motions with an IR sensor or Kinect. It’s not unlike RePro3D, but with slightly less bulky hardware. Don’t take our word for it though, check out the video after the break.

The Last Holographic Artist
Remember back in the old days when holograms were the wave of the future? Sadly, those days are long gone, replaced by stereo 3D glasses and crappy movies shot in 3D HD.
Motherboard has a documentary on Doctor Laser (really Dr. Sapan) who, at about 20 minutes in, shows how to make real holograms. The artform never really took off – I think the bandwidth was too low to really grab anyone’s attention – but I suspect we’ll be soon seeing real life holograms in the next few years so Doctor Laser can get cracking again.

They only work closely with 33rd and above ‘Illuminated’ Masons. I also talked about the fact that most if not all, Masonic members of the 33rd degrees and above have been replaced by Android/hybrids known by the higher levels of the global intelligence apparatus as ‘Ontocyborgenergetic’ life forms. These ‘Draco-borgs’ are patched into a collective computer like matrix, have no free will and are controlled by the Draco. When I use the word android I am not talking about a robot with wires instead of veins. I mean a cloned genetically engineered being. Without going into too much detail and getting into complicated bio-genetics, the original human has their bio-plasmic body or ‘information cloud’ removed and put into a cloned body loaded with microchip implants and other genetic enhancements and forms of mind control. A walk-in ‘Ontocyborg …
