For The Ladies: Giant Office Binder Clip Purses

This is the Clip Bag from designer Peter Bristol. It appears like one of those black binders that you always squeeze on the side of your finger to show how tough you are to yourself. Oh yeah, 15-seconds, I’m a f \*\*\* ing gladiator. Peter states the bags are currently not being made, but he’s thinking about the possibility. And, for the record, they’re simply bags, they’re not binders. Will it hold a document together? No. Will it hold tampons? Yes. Seriously though, that was my bad for opening one, I thought they were independently covered noise-makers. You should have seen the view everybody’s faces at the supper table, every one told a tale. Mainly the exact same tale: ‘Holy Shit, This Man Does not Belong In Public’. Somebody finally informed me it was a tampon after like two mins of attempting to play The Star Spangled Banner on it like a kazoo. Then I utilized it to soak up the other iced tea in my glass.

OUYA Ships 1,200 Development Consoles, Shows Off Its Pre-Release Android Gaming Hardware On Video clip

OUYA, the Android-based budget friendly games console that inspired a broad array of response from tech viewers and gamers alike when it debuted on Kickstarter back in July 2012, today reached a vital milestone: shipping item. Undoubtedly, it ’ s simply the developer-specific systems for now, but 1,200 devices are now winging their way to actual people, and the company put the pre-release gaming console on video clip to prove it.
This OUYA unboxing video offers us a look at exactly what the thing looks like in the flesh– albeit in a transparent plastic casing for both controller and console that doesn ’ t reflect its expected shipping fit and finish. The design isn ’ t quite last either, as founder Jules Uhrman clarifies on the video along with an Ouya designer that the d-pad will change, as will take on pad positioning and a number of other interior controller parts. Also newly flaunted in the video are a micro USB port on the console itself, and an internal fan in the device to keep it cool during extreme games sessions.
The console looks an awful lot like very early renders we ’ ve seen (minus the restricted edition transparent plastic finish) and Uhrman even goes so far about actually plug in the console and power it up on video clip, although we don ’ t see anything beyond a boot screen as the gadget tons up with the “ OUYA ” branding. At the minimum however, we understand it turns on, and that it ’ s delivering in some capability, which in itself might be enough to silent those who hesitant about OUYA ’ s ability to deliver any type of kind of working device at all.
Shipping development systems today likewise suggests that OUYA has without a doubt kept its preliminary hardware ship date pledge– a rarity among any type of Kickstarter jobs, and outstanding given the appeal of this one in particular, the quantity of scrutiny it obtained. Xsens teases wearable 3D body sensors that won’t cost, will track an arm and a leg (video clip).

When we think of full-body motion capture, we most often associate it with movie-grade equipment that demands a dedicated room, odd-looking suits and a corporate bank account to finance it all. Xsens hints that we may not have to rent a professional studio (or stand in front of a Kinect) to get complete body tracking for personal use. It’s planning to show a wearable, 3D-capable tracking system at CES that uses “consumer grade” MEMS sensors to monitor joint positions and movement — in other words, the kind of technology that might go into a phone’s accelerometer, just strapped to our arms and legs. Further details are scarce, although Xsens is pressing for uses in everything from fitness to gaming. We’d like to see partners line up so that there’s a product we can buy in a store. Until then, we’ll have to make do with the company’s skateboard-dominated teaser clip, which you can find after the break.

We’ve been identifying the D600 since images leaked a few months ago, and today it’s been made representative: a full-frame DSLR that’s priced ever-so-slightly closer to the reach of mortals (read: “high-end lovers”) who probably can not declare everything off their tax. At merely bashful of $ 2,100 (& euro; 2,400 in Europe), the 24-megapixel video camera’s US listing cost is substantially lower than that of the 36-megapixel D800, and undercuts Canon’s competing EOS 5D Mark III and Sony’s brand new full-frame Alpha A99.
Exactly what’s even more, apart from the resolution, you’re getting something quite near the D800– consisting of a weather-sealed magnesium alloy develop, rapid Exspeed III processor, and AF that works down to f/8– but here it’s all had in a body that loses a full 15 percent off the D800′s weight. It feels excellent to hold a full-frame DSLR like this, which is hardly any type of heavier or even more conspicuous than an APS-C shooter like the D7000.
