3-Stage Cleaning with AeroVac™ Series 2 – Roomba 770 uses a powerful 3-stage cleaning system to pick up an amazing amount of dirt, pet hair, and other debris. A spinning side brush cleans along wall edges to loosen dirt and dust. Then, Roomba’s counter-rotating brushes act like a broom and dustpan to pull debris from the floor. Finally, the powerful AeroVac Series 2 vacuum sucks the dirt, hair, and debris from the brushes into the back of the bin. Roomba 770’s advanced cleaning head provides superior cleaning performance.

Dual HEPA Filters – Roomba 770’s dual HEPA filters trap dust, allergens, and other tiny particles leaving behind clean air.

Dirt Detect Series 2 with Persistent Pass Cleaning Pattern – Dirt Detect Series 2 allows Roomba 770 to clean the way you do. Sensors optically and acoustically locate dirt and hair so Roomba can perform concentrated cleaning on the dirtiest areas. Persistent Pass uses a back-and-forth cleaning motion that mimics the way you vacuum.

iAdapt Responsive Cleaning Technology – iAdapt is iRobot’s advanced system of software and sensors that allows Roomba to clean more of your room, more thoroughly. Roomba covers every section of your floor multiple times, cleaning areas you can’t easily reach including under furniture, around everyday obstacles, along walls and under cabinets. It automatically adjusts to different floor types and avoids stairs and drop-offs.

Virtual Walls – Included Virtual Walls keep Roomba cleaning where you need it and block off-limit areas.

It’s Come To This: Blanket With A Screen Cleaning Edge

gadget-wiping-blanket.jpg

Seen here looking straight out of a Skymall catalog, this is the $ 32 BB Tech Screen Cleaning Throw blanket. It’s a blanket with a microfiber edge on one side for wiping gadget screens because, you know, this is the world we live in. You laugh now, but your parents just ordered a bunch for you and the rest of your siblings for Christmas. They come in two colors: smoke and Cuban sand. Me? I prefer Puerto Rican sand. I also prefer spit-shining all my gadget screens which might explain why most of them have stopped working. If you shake my phone hard enough liquid comes out.

Thanks to Bethany, who works for the company and I’m really hoping takes my suggestion to make a moderately priced cloak of invisibility blanket.

Google retiring iGoogle, Symbian Search app, Google Mini, others for 'spring cleaning'

To everything (Turn, Turn, Turn). There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn). Sometimes those seasons can get a bit convoluted, however — or such is the premise of Google’s “Spring cleaning in summer” post, outlining the end of a handful of tech offerings. Because heck, even a company as big as Google has to pick its battles. On the chopping block this time out are the Google Mini enterprise search system, the Google Talk Chatback widget, Google Video, iGoogle and the Symbian search app. Of course, the company won’t be leaving people hanging entirely. Google’s pushing users toward existing properties like the Meebo bar for Talk Chatback and YouTube for Google Video (which already stopped taking uploads a while back), the latter of which will be fully integrated into the more popular video offering come August. More info on what all this means in the source link below.

Google sweeps away BlackBerry sync support during spring cleaning

It’s springtime, and you know what that means for Google: out with the old and in with the new. Unfortunately, many BlackBerry fans might not like how Google’s rearranging the furniture. During its routine tradition, the company announced that Google Sync for the BlackBerry will no longer be available for download as of June 1st. Put simply, the company identified its app as redundant, as RIM provides the same contact and calendar sync services to its customers with native software. Also in the spirit of spring cleaning, Google is encouraging users to uninstall the Sync app and properly configure their BlackBerry handsets to take advantage of these services. Fortunately, those content to keep with the status quo will be glad to know that Google Sync will continue to function properly — so even if you’re feeling lazy on this fine day, it’s all good. Those with motivation, however, will find instructions of how to make the switch in the source below.
