This is when the Rice HS Raiders of Harlem, NYC appeared, with Diane Sawyer, on Ch 7 ABC NY Good Morning America. Rice HS was sponsored in the 2001 FIRST Robotics, founded by Dean Kaman, competition by Con Edison, Goldman-Sachs and A&M Industrial.They won the Eastern Regional’s at Columbia University and won Rookie of the Year at the National’s at Walt Disney’s Epcot Center.
