The LG Optimus F7 with LTE is now available on US Cellular, shortly after leaked documents robbed it of any surprise. It comes with a healthy spec sheet for a mid-range Jelly Bean device, with a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display, a 1.3-megapixel front cam, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and has 8GB of internal storage, expandable via the miracle of microSD. You can get the Optimus F7 via US Cellular’s website for $ 99.99 on a two-year contract, but don’t move a finger-muscle until you’ve checked out our hands-on.

We know that “where for are thou?” was in search of a different Shakespearean character, but if you had the same question for (Dell’s) Ophelia, then the answer is July. The Android pendrive / USB computer we saw back at CES may be one of many, but distinctive thanks to its mainstream PC-maker origins. We’re still lacking a lot of the specifics, other than that there’s WiFi, Bluetooth, Wyse PocketCloud integration, plus, of course, HDMI and Android 4.something. There will likely be a few enterprise-friendly features too (administration tools, remote wiping) reports PC World. As usual, developers will get their hands on them first, with — interestingly — some cable and telecoms companies potentially stocking it too — though no specifics at this time. So, the $ 100 Dell might not be the portable you’d love for this price, but maybe the USB PC finally crossing over?

The FCC told us that an LTE ready version of the Dell XPS 10 was coming, but there’s nothing like official confirmation: it’s here, and it runs on AT&T. Dell officially announced the variant’s availability on its community blog, identifying the radio the feds uncovered as a Qualcomm Gobi modem, a natural fit for the tablet’s 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 CPU. The LTE option is only available for the device’s 64GB configuration, and adds $ 100 to the tablet’s total purchase price. Nobody said getting LTE on your Windows RT slab was cheap.
