Sprint starts charging $15 fee to change your phone number

Starting today, Sprint will charge customers a $ 15 fee for changing their phone numbers over the phone with Sprint Care or in a Sprint Store — a service the carrier used to provide free of charge. Changing your number through Sprint’s website will still be a free service, at least for the time being. AT&T and T-Mobile both charge fees to change your phone numbers as well, leaving Verizon as the last major carrier to offer the service at no charge.
