Question by VJ: Should I start a Simple Church (or Organic Church) in L.A. or O.C.?
I have become part of this new way of doing church called Simple Church (or Organic Church). It is a revolutionary way of doing church that is poised to sweep across America. If you are tired of the institutional church (church as most people know it), read on.

Then I read other books like Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola and George Barna

Basically things about the institutional church that are unbiblical are special church buildings (Simple Churches tend to meet in homes, coffee shops, etc), clergy/laity distinction (everyone should participate in ministry, not just a few professionals), and ordered worship (Simple churches are more spontaneous, less ordered, and not just led by one person). According to this way of doing church, a church is anytime 2 or 3 or more believers are gathered. Where it happens isn’t so important – the people are the church.
