Samsung Super OLED Ultimate TV CES 2012
SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE FROM CES 2012 Presenting Samsung’s newest innovation – the Super OLED TV. One of the most exciting products at CES 2012 – This TV has incredible contrast and color depth. Here are some more details – Super OLED technology eliminates the need for a color filter as the OLED pixel unit comprises self-emitting RGB sub-pixels laid directly on the display panel, each emitting its own light. The technology is also able to differentiate varying degrees of blacks and shadows, so that users can enjoy unparalleled detail even in the darkest of scenes for the ultimate TV experience.

WOW!!!!! I CAN’T WAIT! Surprise for us! It’s not just Oled, But they jump right out with Super OLED!!!! Shweet! So theoretically will be better then the LG. We will have to wait and see.
1:16 i want that as my wallpaper
@NYBuildings
lol I’d love a 50″ but then that would cost me 8 to 10 grand. Pass.
@pinkfloyd2654
Aside from insane black levels,the real bonus here is the CRT-like Motion handeling. LED’s and LCD’s have weak motion handeling as it’s inherent to the technology,where as plasma shines in the motion department.And while it’s MUCH better than LCD and LED, it’s not quite as good as CRT plus there’s tha nasty dithering effect. Plus Super OLED’s retain that amazingly bright and super crisp/clean image that LCD’s/LED’s boast as well. Super OLED seems like the perfect tech! XD
From what I’ve been able to gather the Super OLED TV is not future proof but the ES8000 is but its a LED backlit tv. Lame….
10 grand for 55 inch in 4 years 500 quid for a 85 inch
do you know when this comes out and how much it would be?
Let’s explain the differences between the technologies. A fundimental difference between LED ( light emitting diode) and LCD ( liquid crystal display) is that LED still uses an LCD display panel but with LED back light as opposed to the LCD fluorescent. OLED ( organic light emitting diode) however uses no back light. Each pixel has its own color generator eliminating the need for a colour filter for the first time. And of course each pixel emits its own light making for an amazing contrast ratio
You must have gone mad listening to that shite repetitive music all day
trash the 3d with glasses because this is way better
OLED is the next step huh?
@TheSolutionSS lol that’s right but we love it
Just ridiculous!!!!!!!
Looks pretty good through the camera
Cocaine for the eyes

@gigabytegeeks hahaha mw3. you do realize it wont make much difference in quality because mw3 has crap graphics and all that stuff so basically there isnt much that would make this tv look its best not even a ps3 exclusive or anything on console could but a high end pc maybe could
@videogamer54 wouldnt be too impresive unless you were playing on a high end pc
Coming to a Best Buy near you for only $39,999,95.
Amazing. Would love to buy one.
I want borderless TVs/monitors. As soon as they come out with those I’ll be excited.
Its nearly beazelless and super oled
could you imagine what the Pixar UP movie on Blu-Ray would look like on that OLED TV. : )
@ibanez0830 This Tv is gonna be really expensive regardless of what size it eventually comes out with, dude, CES is practically the future in one big area lol
