And the main reason the background on the Android OS is black is battery saving, even for OLED display, because actually the background is… turned off all the time
Actually the screen IS off, the OLED (organic light emitting diode) technology is based on the active/deactive pixels (turned on/off), so when the background or any part of the screen is supposed to be black, it is…black, because the pixels actually turn them off to get ”infinite” ( perfect) contrast and that’s quite it, it cannot be more perfect than that, the end : )

Since duel means 2 and quad means 4, I suspect that it is double from it’s predecessors. Yes, it is quad core! (:
