Samsung 82″ 3840x2160p Ultra High Definition Quad-HD LCD TV
Totally awesome, the best screens in the world. Quad HD is completely insane quality. I heard from some CMO engineers once that the difference in manufacturing price from 720p to 1080p screens was about 20 dollars two years ago, what would the price difference be between a 1080p and a 2160p quad-HD screen? Perhaps is it just a different chip in there? So what if there isn’t any quad-HD content yet, that the bitrate required for quad-HD is four times the bitrate required for 1080p, getting a 8 megapixel digital still camera is cheap and once you see the 8 megapixel digital pictures on a quad HD screen, actually any picture taken that’s over 2 megapixel will thus show it’s full detail on a quad-HD screen for up to 8 megapixels. So imagine streaming some up-to-8megapixel slideshows, displaying 8MP scanns of paintings. Quad-HD is cool. You can buy a 40″ Samsung 1080p HDTV at Amazon.com for $969 here: www.amazon.com The OLED screen was good to. This video was filmed using the Sanyo HD1000 and you can watch it in HD quality at techvideoblog.com

When will we call 1080p SD?
@seefus369 gl trying to run it at that resolution
doesn’t look like 82′
@seefus369 82 inches for games? only for 10-15 year old kid. I love today’s people empty mind and a wastage of useful equipment..
@Charbax I know i didn’t say it was the same.
@1stNightingale LED and TFT are two different backlight technologies for LCD screens.
@Charbax Only LED BACKLIT shows real blacks otherwise a lack of colour.
OLED is the one to go for Wait til that if you can otherwise for movie watchers and gamers LED is the best atm but LCD will do fine for most monitors.
whoa and i thought i was big and bad with my 1920x1080p 24 inch computer monitor i would like to see some pc gaming on that!
Sure a much thicker tv would be hard to handle, but that’s what I’d rather prefer. These things are gonna crack like eggs.
Is that really necessary?
DON’T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !
dude, do you have this video on fullhd??
its not in mass production i thnk panasonic or sony is planning to complete it sometime this year to 2013
1080i
they both suck
@Haloroach get the SONY
My computer screen is 22″ and 1050p o.o
that 2nd tv makes my lcd tv look like a fat ass barney
hands down get the samsung
Which one is better for my 360, The Sony Bravia 32″ 720p KDL325000 or the Samsung LN32B460 720p 32″
All you need now is Crysis and a ultimate gaming pc!!!!
So “ughhh” 1 more time say it ! SAY IT !
@Sopak23 LED is just the backlighting technology. LED Backlights still need LCD technology for the images. LED backlights use less power than TFT and some people say LED backlights look better than TFT, but new TFT are pretty good as well.
Isn’t LED the wave of the future of HD TV’s? Why would Samsung make an LCD version of a TV thats not even really on the market? i would like to see that resolution on a High hertz LED.
@h4x0y Actually the human eye can pick up to a resolution of 576 megapixel, so this is really nothing compared to the picture that the eye can see.
