Go and borow the superlaser from the US army. Aim the dark side of the moon. Cheap, instant, and not touching the natural moon surface.

The moon should not be an advertisement board. Even if this idea is approved I doubt that any corporation would spend the money to have it done.
Next time you see the moon think about how big the sign would have to be for you see it.
