Netflix Now Delays New Releases from Fox and Universal 28 Days [Streaming Video]

Bad news for Netflix subscribers who still use the service for something other than streaming Watch Instantly movies and TV: The service has entered agreements with Fox and Universal (along with their previous agreement with Warner Bros.) to delay new releases for 28 days, giving the companies more opportunity to sell their outdated DVDs. The tradeoff? Netflix gets access to more streaming content from those companies. As a Netflix customer who rarely rents DVDs, especially new releases, this actually seems like good news. This isnt going to change my buying habits. If anything it will just increase my bittorrent habits.
