Yes, Motorola’s latest slinky slim smartphone has just cleared the FCC, but before you get too excited, nothing about it has changed. From all appearances, the XT615 remains targeted solely at international markets with dual-band 2100 / 900MHz WCDMA. Of course, it’s certainly usable here in the States (in a pinch), thanks to quad-band GSM support, but if you demand a svelte handset and blazing fast LTE, you’re most certainly better off with its more powerful sibling. Aw, shucks.
