@faiz434 yes that screen apple is using is lcd which is nova technology from lg, it is not as popular as amoled but in terms of screen quality most phone reviewers will say nova screen is better. And I have seen the clarityness of nova it is nicer than amoled.
Good to know that my razr has splash guard
Who says the screen apple use is better lol. As far as I know the best screen out there now is the super amoled screen. Apple use lcd
Motorola is the best of the best!!!
Motorola BRAZIL Forever
#MotoFan
Can I ask why did you guys go for super amoled screen instead of nova screen which apple is using which is supposedly better?
swoon! Many thanks.
I bought another motorola phone, and this time motorola razr. love this phone to bits good job moto its gorgeous as well.
Thanks for buying the phone, appreciated. Yes the splash coating is already built into the device, as is the Corning Gorilla Glass screen which is scratch resistant thereby largely making unsightly screen protectors redundant. We don’t sell cases for the device currently, but normally it doesn’t take long for third parties to start selling them.
Hi. I just bought the RAZR last week. Is this some kind of protection already built in to my phone? Also i still cant fine any screen protector yet or the case for this phone. Please reply. Many thanks.
@plasmavisk Well without getting into an online debate, both Motorola and P2i who developed the solution are standing behind the statement. Thanks.
Motorola Knows about my case and they have many messages from me and i made some calls to motorola service, and today i not have any solution.
my incident number is 110905-000594, thanks for your time answering my message
if that wasn’t enough?! Seriously, we do think the design, materials and thinness is very special. There is also this splash guard protection. Coupled with smart actions and motocast software solutions (check out the videos) we do believe its the most head turning android smartphone out there.
What are the advantages of the Razr vs. the Galaxy Nexus (except for the amazing thinness and design)….
We’re sorry your personal experience has not met with the standards we would expect. If you want to message us with your details, we will happily investigate. Thanks.
he is referring to the coating when its dropped.
They are working on RZAR HD version for next summer release.
Motorola products are poor quality, by exemple my motorola Defy needs to be repaired several times and the problem of earpiece never was resolved… long time without my phone, and almost 2 months ago Motorola took my phone definitely and they said that would it change for a new one, but today I not have nothing, and the only answer is to wait to be contacted. :S
thank you Motorola for let me without phone! and Merry Christmas
our friends at P2i have re-confirmed our understanding….Splash Guard is molecularly bonded to the device, meaning the coating will not come off if the phone is dropped onto floor or surface.
ah yes, sorry wrong information given to us. Apologies and noted! (albeit Rezound is rather thick)
then explain the HTC Rezound…
Because Moto hasn’t come out with a phone that does 720 yet lol
I am the user of an OG droid right now and I love it. I still might go motorola this time because of the great experience I have had. Even without the HD screen
well the only reason Nexus has an HD screen is by going to the size they have done….which given our design ethos around RAZR would not have been applicable. Thanks for your comments and support.
mkaes it hard to not pick another motorola this upgrade cycle. but why motorola, why no HD screen on the RAZR. If it was there I would not even be thinking of the Galaxy nexus
hardly… we’re answering the question posed around whether the splash coating is subject to wear and tear.
