@tmwalrus – this isn’t an Ad, it’s just the engineers who made it talking about how it operates, it was part of the introduction a few months ago.
Basically, the iPad aimed at people around their 50′s – it’s meant for sharing pictures, and watching movies (it CAN play app games though). It is NOT meant for Numbers, Keynote, or Pages, which you can get, nor is it meant for eBuddy (which to be honest neither was the iPhone or iPod Touch). It is also not meant to be something you carry and take to place to place – maybe to your friend’s house though. It can play movies better than a laptop, and share pictures better than an iPhone/iPod Touch.
@yellowhue30 – no, you wouldn’t want USB on something this advanced… it’s fully 802.11n wirelss don’t forget… it has more download ability because of that… and what? There are over 100,000 free Apps, so it’s clear you don’t know how the App Store operates. It’s not about “advertising”, it’s all about a remarkable device that nobody but Apple can build… you might want to actually use one before you comment here, it’s clear you haven’t and are just jealous of iPad users.
@Atlixco1984 – no, for the price, it’s a great value, everyone was afraid it was going to be $999 since it packed so many features… but for $499 it’s a bargain, that’s why there is a 2 week wait to get them.
@RYANBRU32 – no, it has plenty of memory, it’s a cloud device don’t forget… no, optical drives are being phased out, so there would never be a reason to include one on such an advanced device… video is streamed, it doesn’t come off spinning wheels anymore. Why are you so jealous of great products? Apple offers customers the most value for their money of any computer company, you don’t seem to realize that yet.

After all, its just a tablet. ..and stores? I still can’t understand what iPad really is. Expanded iPod touch/iPhone? So, why should i buy it? iPod touch more portable, it’s able to do most iPad can. If i wanna do more? I’ll use MacBook or iMac or PC or netbook. The point is, why should i buy iPad ??
