Holy crap ThatsBadAss! Look at the size of that GPS chip!

SiRF Technology has just announced a breakthrough in GPS chip technology. They are boasting the obvious small physical size of the chip but also the fact that it only consumer 1% of the power the chips use today. They add that the chip is more reliable and allows for always-on GPS devices to last significantly longer between charges.
