It isn’t human unless the mouse is dead. These vermin spread disease and if they didn’t come back to your house eat your food and shit all over the place in the first place then a trap like this would be acceptable. However that is not the case, and they will comeback.

Um… Humane? Seriously, dude, they’re mice. Rodents. Disease-carrying rodents that eat your food. This is the most inhumane way anyway. Quick and painless death would be best. Find a way to chop its head off with a really thin blade and THAT will be the most humane way.
