We are looking into getting an iPad and we were wondering how much it costs, and what the charges for Wi-Fi and anyother charges (besides getting apps)?

Between $ 500 and $ 800, depending on capacity and whether or not it has 3G.

Both models have WiFi capability.

If you want 3G, you also need pay monthly for a data package.

iPads come in different memory sizes and different browsing capabilities. The iPad that only has wi-fi will cost $ 450-$ 500 for the 16GB, $ 600-$ 650 for the 32GB, and $ 650-$ 700 for the 64GB. Some iPads also come equipped with 3G capabilities. These will cost about $ 630 for the 16GB, $ 730 for the 32GB, and $ 800-$ 830 for the 64GB.

The next model may be announced Wednesday, and then you can decide buy now or wait. The new models drive down the price of the old models.
