How much bonuses does a robotics engineer get a year?
Question by Alex: How much bonuses does a robotics engineer get a year?
I checked the average salary and it gives me 70-90k plus bonuses. How much bonuses? I’m guessing alot because the boss would give alot once the robot is complete so the engineer would finish fast and work hard. Anyone know how much bonuses they get? Thanks.

Well it depends on the company. It also depends on what type of bonuses were offered in your contract. Bonuses could be earned by extra qualifications, commissions, finishing a project on time, somehow finding a way of saving the company money or creating patents for the company, etc.
As I said, it really depends on the company and your position. An example would be if you are a control systems position and find a flaw that eventually would cost millions you may get a bonus. However, you might not get anything as well since you were just doing your job. It’s up to your boss’ judgment and company’s policy at the end.
