Question by -D: How do I learn robotics?
I need some sort of kit or something. That would be nice with at least some instruction. But as much freedom as possible. Like, I’d like to find a cpu with some rom that I can program and then have it control and use motors, and sensors and stuff. I can’t really find any cpus or anything though. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

For beginners, I recommend LEGO Mindstorms. With the new version, you can program it with Labview or C.

Or, one step above that, you can get the vex robotics kits.

I think both kits come with a programmable controller, basic motors, and a few sensors. You will have to buy additional mechanical hardware for your project.
The only major down side is that they are expensive.
