I have the MyTouch 4g. Overall, this is an awesome phone, and my battery can last over 15 hours with minimal use.
Sometimes, it turns on something called Android OS. If it is on, my battery drains amazingly fast. It will sometimes only last 7 hours with minimal usage when the Android OS is on. I don’t know what causes it to come on, nor can I figure out how to turn it off. Can it be tuned off?

Your phone, if fairly new, has GPS software built into it so the gov’t can find you and either put you in the army or in jail. You can have the GPS turned off and this’ll save your battery. Also your neck!
