Hi Soldatanetwork: Nuke, After Effects, Photoshop, and Maya were our main go to applications. Each application has its own strength and weaknesses.

There will be no hiding here. We wear our thievery on our sleeves proudly, apparently. Glad we could put a smile on that war-worn face of yours! Consider it an “homage” though, as that is what I intended it to be.

Lol, prix… you know, most artists at least TRY and hide when theyre ripping off bladerunner. Oh well, I guess theres a kind of honesty to it. this vid reminded me of flashback… one of the best videogames ever made, and by extension my childhood… and that made me smile :)

This is awesome beyond comprehension. Grendel is my favorite electro band, and I’m so happy to hear new music from them- let alone a music video! :D

Next step: overlord! I will rule with tits and bass-y beats.

  • Bryan Lynch:

I agree, it’s an interesting change from the usual hard-hitting industrial graphics we’re used to seeing from Grendel. I’ve been anticipating this album for some time now, and this video only increases the ever-heightening adrenaline. It’s almost too much to bear as I wait for FedEx to bring me my pre-order. DX

Shadowsnight, can’t disagree with you on that at all. It’s very much open to an individual’s perceptions though–clearly you are a smart person for seeing behind our veneer of “eye candy” to the symbolic / metaphorical questions we are trying to raise with this. Thanks for the insightful comment!

I saw it more as an addiction to technology. The relation that the modern “drug” is our insatiable need to consume information via social media, TV, etc.
