Actually, you can use sharpie instead of dry erase or wet erase.

Write over the sharpie with a dry-erase marker, and wipe off both with ease.

I do this, and it keeps my binders from smudging if it starts to rain while I’m working.

better keyboard shortcuts in OS X: create an Automator action that launches the app (or bookmark) of your choice, and save it as a Service. Then assign a keyboard shortcut to the Service.

@kazoid: Indeed it does. I use google reader, and now I must click on everything. Which, actually… may be the reason behind the new feed setup.

My wife just talked about using Google calendar to plan meals. Thought it was a great idea when she mentioned it.

But who makes something like zesty lime prawns on a Wednesday. We barely have time to throw a frozen pizza in the oven on week days. ;)

@dirtysteak: The value of one tea bag < the energy it takes to walk outside in the middle of the night when you realize your trash can smells like the broccoli you threw out and is still only half full. Well, in my lazy world at least.

@mfusion: I could not for the life of me figure out how that would work with a dry-erase.

Wet erase markers? Just don’t drop the thing in a puddle or spill coffee on it

you can also use charcoal to rid of those bad odors. even in refrigerators, just put a handful of coal in a plastic cup, put in in your fridge and no more foul smell. use this trick all the time.

@PhyllisCacharpa: I doubt it. From my experience, used (wet) teabags get moldy. Unless you wanted to somehow dry them with a hairdryer….I think only dry teabags would work.

headline could use a correction. she says that she uses a “wet erase” or marker.

which i’m glad for cause i was having a hard time wrapping my head around putting dry erase stuff in my pocket.

yeah, seriously. your entire economy was built on tea.

you even named a time after it.

i am a big fan of having four meals a day tho!

re: the planner. I like archiving my calendars, so that I can figure out what I was doing that day in 2001, or whatever. So I don’t think a dry erase would work for me. Esp since I do it all electronically now.

@MattyMattMatt: Wait wait, you’re British but you barely drink tea? I’m having trouble understanding. ;-)

I’ve never used Google Calendar (I’m an Outlook-synced-to-my-smartphone-kind of girl), but I love the idea of the meal planning benefits. Easy to see from any internet connection, with me at the store, and the recipe link just rocks.

Gonna create a calendar right now!

That tea bag trick sounds awesome. Does any tea work?
I’m British, but I barely drink it, so I have no clue. I’d be buying it just for this.

That planner idea is also quite smart. I hope the funky writing isn’t mandatory.

Another way to plan your meals for the week is to use Mealfire.com, which is a specific app just for meal planning.

Would wet teabags work just as well as dry… they do eventually dry out?
