After a relatively short public beta period, Adobe has updated Flash and Air for most users today. The new version of Flash Player, 11.3, allows for keyboard input when in fullscreen and reduces audio latency. It also improves security for Mac and Firefox users by offering automatic updates to the former and sandboxing to the latter. Adobe would also like to point out that it will be compatible with Gatekeeper in OS X Mountain Lion.
The new version of Air is primarily beneficial to developers, who can now use the platform to more easily target iOS 5.1 and the iPad’s Retina Display.
