Question by gatorade: Will there be another incident between the mclaren cars before the season is over?
This rivalry between alonso and lewis reminds me a bit of the rivalry between prost and senna. Just a little bit.
What do you think the chances of either one of the current mclaren drivers, who are only separated by 2 points, will resort to similar tactics employed by senna and prost in their final races of their championship seasons? I’m not saying that i’m hoping for a crash but i wouldn’t be surprised if it happened. If any two drivers in F1 are capable of doing someting like that, it’s these two.

I hope Alonso hits the wall and paralyzes himself. Lewis is a cool bean.
Just think if their points were stripped from them and not just the constructor’s points. Eeeeeek. Bad news for those two!

You are a bit too generous, these two are nothing like Senna and Prost. One doesnt have the class of those legends and the other is way too young.

. Waiting eagerly to see if Lewis has the audacity to point his car towards Alonso, suggesting a chop. Because this time Alonso might take the bait!
Honestly, I dont think so. Alonso is desperate to win, Lewis will try to hang on. They will try to avoid and maybe goof up so much in doing so to let the reds pass.
Look, I admire guys with balls and thick skin. Those who would think nothing of controversy or bad press. Reputation? Don’t give a shite kinda guy. Win at all and any cost. Senna, JV, Schumacher, JPM. I’m warming to Alonso (although I hate the guy quite a lot).
If either one of the McLaren boys had the guts to punt the other out DELIBERATELY, he’ll get my grunt of approval.
It’s quite likely something will happen between them in the ramaining three races; after all they seem to share complete hatred for each other. Alonso thinks he should have everything his own way and Lewis sees Alonso as having completely stabbed the team in the back; the team which he has been associated with since he was very young.
I could see Alonso trying to take Lewis off the road in Brazil if the championship depended on it…Lewis is a hard driver but he’s fair so I don’t think he would deliberately do the same.
I would mind seeing that. then they know how much this championship means to them !!!
it would be a fantastic end to the season, after all the controvesy and problems if the Mclaren pair were to put each other out of contention and Kimi sneaks in to the world title! Oh the headlines that would receive!!
