Question by Jay S: Which spark plug is good for my hyundai elantra?
I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra and I wanted to know what brand of Spark plugs would be best for my car.

Use the one recommended by the manufacturer. It would be shown in the owners manual and also a sticker label under the hood. The engineers that built the car know what is best for it.

    your car isn’t really a performance engine with high compression, so any basic spark plug brand should be ok

    I found that most foreign engines like NGK plugs.

    NGK, or something with a split fire.

    However, a 4 cylinder engine for the most part has a higher compression than a V8. It’s how you get all that power out of just 4 cylinders. If it was low compression, it would get lost in it’s own shadow.

    V8 high compression engines are in various exotics, not Detroit ones that have changed very little in 30 years. They recommend higher octane fuel because of it.
