Then F1 would be a hell of a lot more competitive at the front of the field, as opposed to being competitive between around 4 or 5 teams in the midfield

ooh what fun that would be. there would be a lot more close racing for a start. quali would be down to a split hair in time difference and i reckon we could see a different team winning each race. it really would be down to the drivers competence then.
It would be like how it should be
F1 is a poor show at the moment and i’m a diehard fan.
I’d like that. F1 was a lot more fun when most of the teams were at the same level. There were always teams behind but not like the last 10 years when there are only two or three on top and the rest running a different race.

Though it would look to be fair, the end results would be different. F1 is yet another show which needs the heroes, villains (opposing teams), dark horses, surprises, twists and tragedies. F1 is about machines and its technologies just as much as it is about drivers. There will be no fun in watching a 11-way split season and winning is not always the best part of the race either. Personally I found Sato’s heroics in Montreal more enjoyable than Hamilton’s first win.
Then we will have a great show to watch and more exciting races to watch
You would see some great racing! Look at Ruben Barichello, in the Ferrari he was winning races. But put him in the Honda and he’s midfield every time. Imagine what Nico Rosberg or Heikki Kovaleinian could do in those cars! It would be a dream come true for them and us.
Well,it would be a lot more competitive, that’s for sure.It won’t be a two horse race, but a 10 horse sprint. But sometimes it’s not about the constructors.Look at Fernando Alonso when he was at Renault. No offense to them, but Renault is tiny compared to Ferrari and Maclaren.Sometimes the racers need to get the best out of their cars.
Or you could invent a time machine and travel back to 1982… I know which one is more likely!
It would be fun to see, but it would remove a vital part of the sport if the mechanical differences between the cars went.
Probably cheaper and easier to put all the current F1 drivers into A1GP cars for a non-championship season opener if you want to see who’s really best.
ooohhh!!!wish that would happen
