With the whole 2012 global economic collapse coming up, what are the chances that exotic car companys will go under and close? Or will they adapt and maybe suspend production until its over?

What global economic collapse? Anyone who is predicting such a thing is an idiot, guaranteed.
The global economy may not be in the best of shape, with the Euro being dragged down by Greece, and tensions in the Middle East, but other areas of the economy are still in good shape. China is still going strong and the US is showing small signs of recovery.

The 2011 annual reports haven’t been released yet, or at least couldn’t find them, but as for 2010 Fiat made almost $ 200 million profit and Volkswagen made close to $ 7 billion. Don’t let the numbers mislead you Volkswagen is a much bigger company then Fiat but both are running strong and all had great 4th quarter numbers last year so their profits should be up last year and this year especially for Fiat.
So, as you questions goes, no Ferrari nor Lamborghini will halt production or stop….especially since Ferrari has the F70 in development and Lamborghini just came out with the Aventador not to long ago. They’re going hard and strong.

Lamborghini: +23% and all the Aventadors sold out…crisis…what crisis?!
There will still be loyal customers out there. Even if their sales is collapsing, they will start to make limited amount of cars like they used to make.
YEAH I saw that prediction by some idiot guy on tv that just wants to sell his stupid book that tells you how to make it through the economic collapse. HE COMES OUT WITH A NEW BOOK EVERY YEAR! that says this year their is going to be a major economic collapse…. BS!!
I think farrari and Lamborghini would make it through it because their cars are very expensive and their is alot of rich people in the world that will still buy them.
