Tree of Life, Lotus Flower & Karma Charm Necklace in Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil on a 20″ Rhodium and Sterling Box Chain, #8460

Tree of Life, Lotus Flower & Karma Charm Necklace in Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil on a 20″ Rhodium and Sterling Box Chain, #8460

  • This sterling silver and gold vermeil necklace has a sterling silver tree of life as the centerpiece. A vermeil lotus flower and a double sided karma charm make this necklace fun and whimsical.
  • The tree of life pendant is 1 1/8″ x 1 1/8″ and stamped 925. The lotus flower is 1/2″ wide and the karma tag is 1/4″ wide x 9/16″ in length. The pendants come on a 20″ rhodium plated sterling silver box chain. Rhodium adds a tarnish resistant finish as well as a darker, rich patina to the sterling silver.
  • *** TREE OF LIFE *** The tree of life is a powerful, life-affirming symbol in almost every culture. With its branches reaching towards the sky, and roots embedded deeply in the earth, it dwells in three worlds, becoming a link between heaven, the earth, and the underworld, uniting above and below. It represents all that is true, wholesome, stable, and noble. When you are in need of stability and strength in your life – envision the tree of life in your minds eye.
  • *** LOTUS FLOWER *** Buddhists liken the unfolding of the lotus petals to the unfolding of the divine within the human self. The closed bloom represents the heart with its infinite potential for enlightenment; the open blossom represents the enlightened self. In Buddhism the lotus blossom represents a heart opening. The lotus flower blooms on the surface of water, with its roots deep below in mud – making it a symbol of light and beauty emerging from darkness.
  • *** KARMA *** Karma is the sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence. It is your fate or destiny. See our Taos Trading Storefront for a great selection of jewelry designs and styles.

My husband ordered me this necklace for my birthday & I love it! The necklace is dainty but very strong. I love the necklace & what it stands for. It came with a paper explaining what each piece means. The silver tree is shiny & the lotus & karma pieces are more matte than shiny. Overall very pretty & I just love it:-)

I have not seen this necklace in person. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my BFF in another state. I purchased it due to the meaning behind it. Here is the meaning as stated on Amazon “*** TREE OF LIFE *** The tree of life is a powerful, life-affirming symbol in almost every culture.
