Where is Jeremy´s?
wait is that a DB7 or a DB9 or a Vantage, I can’t tell they all look so much alike anymore. Toss the xerox AM and do something different.
If you go back and review Clarkson’s programmes over the years, he’s forever coming out with ridiculous predictions that the supercar is finished. This is another classic example. Cars like the DB7 won’t be made anymore etc. etc.. Er, just take a look at all the amazing supercars available today! He’s a dickhead.

@minibus1351 I know your comment is 1 year old but I’ll answer. At the time the DB9 first came out, the V12 Vanquish existed and having the name DB8 might suggest it would have a V8 engine which it doesn’t. Another reason suggested that since the DB9 was a huge leap from the old XJS based DB7, they named it DB9 skipping one number.
And folks, what we have seen both of Ian Callum and that other guy had drawn was not the Future Jaguar E-type but the Future XK. Look at the proportions.
Still, If I want a GT car, I’d go with the Jaguar XKR or the Maserati Granturismo but with no limits, I’d go with the Aston Martin DB9. It’s the motorworld’s interpretation of sex.

People who don’t wear seat belts need to be watched? People who are extremely stupid to the point that they shouldn’t be driving should be taken into consideration in making good cars that are safe and reliable?! How about get rid of the stupid people instead of the smart designs!
@reel2real5 The DB9 is a beautiful car in it’s own way, compared to the DB7 it is more spectacular, but the DB7 is more timeless, and prettier, and for me has the edge over the DB9.

am i the only one who thinks the db9 is prettier thn the db7 mostly because of the more modern interior the larger grill the different headlights and taillights and the modern “swan doors” that open slightly upwards which just looks so cool!
