@lemisanthrope um, you either A) didnt listen to this song, B) havent listend to GNR or C) are completely tone deaf and havent a shred of musical talent or knowledge. GNR NEVER sounded like tesla. and its not a dis at GNR, i like(d) them, at least thier recorded music, they were terrible live. They are two completely different styles of band, Tesla made LONG , beautiful musical compositions about hope, love, friendship and loyalty, GNR made music about the underbelly of society.

@skiraf – not really. Rap music industy suffers from the same ailments as rock and R&B sector as well. The real and the true artists and those who have skill and a message/story/substance will always fall behind those that have flash and backing. Why? It’s the MUSIC video industry. If you remove the visuals and get people to listen to music again, the ship will right itself.
Fat girls with voices will again be stars, ugly dudes will again get evaluated on their music instead of their looks..
