This was the answer to tonight’s ” Final Jeopardy! “ question !!!!!
As a kid in the public school system, I never heard a word about Tesla. It was in vocational school that I learned about the man, and felt so cheated. Edison was presented as a near-god. It is TESLA who deserves that mantle! Hail the Saint of the Geeks!
I wish so much that more people knew of Tesla… For a long time, I didn’t know, and I was taught that Edison was *so* great blah, blah, blah… When I found out about Nikola, I was mad as spit. I’ve hated public school, Edison, J.P. Morgan and the other’s ever since. I’ve tried telling other people about him, made research papers. Nobody listens.
I’m glad some schools teach about him though. Edison, you didn’t win. We remember the man you tried to make disappear. So HA. >:)
