I’m trying to hook up a aftermarket JVC cd player in my 1999 Hyundai elantra and jeep running into wiring problems. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

Try this for your Jeep, I’ve had great success with the site, http://www.installdr.com/.
I use “Scosche” installation kits and their wiring connectors, both available at Walmart and I see that wiring kit “HY02″ is used for 1992-1999 Hyundai vehicles, you might try your local Walmart’s automotive section. They also carry kits for Jeep, Scosche installation kit FCJ1276A for ’74-UP Ford/Chrysler/Jeep and two different wiring kits (depends on model year) for Jeep, CR02 for 2002-UP Jeeps and CR012 for 1984-UP, don’t know the difference.

I have a ’96 Hyundai Elantra and I’m trying to put a new stereo in it… Only problem is is that the manual I have is soaked and I need a wiring diagram to be able to wire this up the right way… Any help is greatly appreciated…

Usually your local auto repair shop will have the diagram on disk that they can print off for you.I’ve done this several times and they normally don’t charge me anything for it.

I need a wire harness repair kit for my 2003 hyundai elantra. Not for the radio, but for the output speed sensor. The wires connecting to the sensor are a bit messed up and need to be fixed. Obviously, the cheaper the better. Thanks for the help!

My 1996 Hyundai Elantra won’t start. Looking around the Coil Packs, I see a dangling wire. Its a green wire that plugs into something. My question is…where does that wire go? Can somebody help me to locate a wiring diagram for that area of the engine compartment? Any help would be much appreciated.

you can go to most parts store, like advanced auto, or auto zone and get a service manual from chiltons for like 20-40 bucks and it’ll cover all sorts of things for your car, also some auto shops like ours use a program called all data and sometime we will print out wiring diagrams for people who ask. but the parts stores will most likely be able to pull one up for you , look around for a plug with no wires on it as well, hope this helps
