Driving experiences in the UK (sports cars) Is it risky ? I wonder if any of you have some experience?
Question by Martin the baby: Driving experiences in the UK (sports cars) Is it risky ? I wonder if any of you have some experience?
I just cant understand how can they let you driving Lambo, Ferrari or Aston Martin on a racing circuit for “only” 100 – 200 GBP. I´ve sent them email asking about a deposit etc..but Im not sure really. In other countries you pay a lot of money and circuits are forbidden – cars are connected to a satelite. Thank you

I don’t really understand your question.
If you’re asking if a driving experience at a motor racing circuit is worthwhile, then the answer is “definitely!!”
The cars are normally stripped-down racers and the money you pay is basically for fuel and instruction costs. You normally get a very limited number of laps for your money and it’s very hard to resist paying more on the day for additional laps. The circuit is also secured in such a way that you can’t normally go solo (most don’t allow you to drive unaccompanied anyway) and then drive the car off the circuit and onto a public road. Even if you could, it would be spotted in no time as the car is normally plastered in the sort of advertising which all racing cars have.
I think you’re confusing a track experience with car hire/rental where you’d pay a huge amount, a very large deposit and would use it on a public road with a ban on racing use of any kind. These cars always have trackers fitted as well, and many track racers do too.

Renting sports cars in the UK and USA. Do you have any experience?
Question by Martin the baby: Renting sports cars in the UK and USA. Do you have any experience?
There is a lot of rentals in Las Vegas, but I expect not much fun as you have to obey the police rules. Then you have Britain, where are companies offering Lambos, Ferraris, Aston Martins etc. directly on a circuit. How come? You can simply destroy the car. Who pays then ?

they have companies just like that here in the USA. But with all those super car renting companies, you got to first down a huge collateral payment just in case you wreck one of the cars.

How do sports cars drive through bumpy roads?
Question by Shiju V N: How do sports cars drive through bumpy roads?
I see a whole lot of sports cars on Indian roads these days, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and not to mention Bugatti. How do these cars negotiate the pot holes, bumps and uneven Indian roads? Do they actually get dented or is there something that can be done to avoid getting dented?
I meant, dented at the bottom

I think if they were driving them sorts of cars, they would avoid potholes like the plague. Put if they did happen to go into one the suspension would stop the car from getting scraped on the ground, as these exotic sports cars have very hard suspension, the harder the suspension the quicker it rebounds.
They could also put a leather covering where they think would touch the road, this would stop scratches.

Thanks!!!
