How hard it is to put an order for a flagship Ferrari F12?
I shopped for an automobile at the Geneva show last March 2013, I generally flip cars every 2 years, and 2014 is the time for a new whip. so I walked around the show, and the only automobile that still got my attention was the Ferrari F12berlinetta. I walked in the booth, and asked one of the gentlemen to help me placing an order, he then got me the official representative of Ferrari in my home town. I sat with him, set up a few of the choices, and then he told me that he doesn’t have the cost list with him for my home town, and that he would prefer if we settle the order later when we are back home. I concurred and left the program booth.
Considering that I visited the program at the extremely beginning, I thought I ought to wait up until the program ended, and the representative is back as well as wait to get all his documents sorted out, and I anticipated a call from him. This didn’t happen, I didn’t learn through the man nor Ferrari, a month passes considering that I was in the show and absolutely nothing, so I contacted Ferrari client service via their website cos I lost the contact of the official representative, and in less than 3 hours, I received an email from Ferrari car dealership here apologizing that there was a miss understanding, according to the man (who coincides guy that helped me in Geneva show), he comprehended, that I will think about it and get back to him, and mind you there was no recall from him, nor any kind of getting in touch with me. Nevertheless, I thought it can occur, so I replied to telling him no harm done, and offered him my complete contacts once again including my mobile phone, and gave him dates that I can make it to the showroom to settle my order. Only not to hear from him after that, a week passes by, and absolutely nothing, so I forwarded the email and asked again to make a consultation to complete my order. He calls me at the end of the week, telling me he will be taking a trip for the weekend, and will call me Sunday when he is back to make the appointment. Sunday comes, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and nothing, I called him yesterday Thursday, no response, I sent him a message telling him whenever Friday mid-day would benefit me. no response from him.
I got my Avy yesterday (Same day, Thursday) from altering to summer season tires, and opted for a fast drive in the city, and I see the guy getting out of his ferrari demo car and obviously he saw me and made believe not to see me, mind you my car is as loud as fu \* k.
Can somebody inform me, why is it this tough to be able to get a vehicle like a Ferrari F12? what should somebody do? I mean normally when an individual wishes to purchase an automobile in such status, the experience ought to belong to the fun of owning the supercar. and exactly what I feel today is like I am trying too difficult to give my cash to Ferrari, and Ferrari in fact doesn’t want my cash … I even begin thinking that the man has personal problems with me, although I never ever said nor did anything disrespectful towards him.
Sorry for the long post, I’m simply attempting to vent my frustration at what must have been a good experience gone sour.
Now tell me, is it regular to be this difficult to place an order of a flagship Ferrari?
