Question by Kevin: In a casual game of magic the gathering, is one not allowed to have 4 black lotus’s in his/her deck?
I realize in the vintage format there are such things as restricted cards and black lotus along with brainstorm and many others are restricted to 1 per deck but I am wondering if this is a general rule to the casual game of magic. Is it not allowed just like someone is not allowed to start off with more than 7 cards in his/her hand?

Casual means anything rules must be agreed upon in advance. So you could throw out all the basic deck limits and run a deck like 20 Mox Rubies, 20 Forks, and 20 Fireballs. What limits you want to play with must be agreed upon before the game.
