How much faster is the FR-S with decent tires?
“The automobile just comes alive with a nice set of tires.”Those are the words of Toyota VP Bob Carter, which were ringing in my ear after a talk I had with him at the Detroit Automobile Program in January.
Excited to test his concept I sourced a set of wheels and tires for my FR-S, and after a long winter, exchanged out the winter setup. Those standard looking steel wheels, and the Vredestein winter season tires that turned my little Scion into a mountain goat during the cold season are now safely in hibernation for the other year.
The stock wheels aren’t specifically unsightly, but they aren’t almost as modern or aggressive as the car itself. Resolving that are a set of AXIS Xplode rollers we got, which are offered exclusively with Tire Rack. You can see AXIS’terrific choice of wheels right here.

The Bugatti —253 mph
The F1———-231 (240 with rev limiter removed)
However the Mclaren is the fastest non-aspirated.

The Lotus is way more lighter by about 3 Lotuses to one Corvette in weight. So in my opinion I think it pretty much evens out. So what is the faster car? What can win in a mile race?

Round a circuit – the lotus. the lotus is one of the best handling cars money can buy, the chevrolets handling is absolutly terrable
Striaght mile – the chervrolet. the lotus would get a better start but its lower high speed would let the chevrolet catch it.

Okay I am NOT talking about which car is faster in a straight line, but rather which is better on a typical race track with turns and a few straights. Also, assume the two drivers shift identically and are the same in everything (have the same skills).

Seriously you’ve got to be kidding the hennessey doesn’t stand a snowballs chance in hell you could put sebastian vettel in the hennessey and a complete stiff , say danica patrick in the mclaren and it would be see you later sebby, danica would make him look like he was standing stil. The weight advantage cornering ability and most of superior braking ability would make this race no competition. Mclaren by a mile

Can we have some numbers? Because a few years back they tested a Nascar stock car at Talladega without a restrictor plate and a retired driver (I think it was Rusty Wallace?) and he got the car up around 220 but said he could’ve pushed 240 if he went all out

Lol, maybe a porsche, maybe a 911, it depends on what kind of ferrari she has. Check out top gear’s sites, they totally know what they are talking about, except mr.slow 
Maybe a carrera or a bmw or audi (sport car)
Again, it depends on the ferrari. I would have taken a porsche
